Review by bishonmom : awesome family fun
This is the handiest fun entertainment since the wii! The "pong" table is usually set up on the dining room table and is used almost daily. This flip side has other games like chess and checkers (yet to be used). It is handy but a bit heavy to lug around. We have brought it to events a couple times. It is a huge hit and can be set up anywhere. We bought extra paddles and ping pong balls. It is durable, so far!
Review by bphillips : Great product, but please beware of return policy!
We received this table tennis table for a Christmas gift and the table we were going to put it on was too small and the ends stuck out and it bowed a little. Our kitchen table didn't work either because of the chandelier. When we tried to return to the company Wayfair they said no problem you just have to pay for the $89.00 shipping. We love to order things from Amazon because of the free shipping and it is usually easy to return things, but now we need to make sure if it's shipping from a separate company to check the return policy. Amazon should make that more clear in the info.Long story short, of course we weren't paying $89 to return something that was $119 so my husband bought an all purpose 6 foot folding table at Home Depot and it works out great. We used some clamps so it wouldn't slide off and the kids really love the table.
Review by Terence "surfer" : Nice mini ping pong table top
I've had this for a month now. My nine year old loves it. He has gotten quite good and has asked for a full-sized tennis table. It's great if you have limited space. But your family may out grow it pretty fast depending on the age of your kids. I figure this will be good for my son until he is ten or eleven.
Review by Sheila Howe : Viper Portable Table Tennis Top
The Portable Table Top is great. We get it out when all the younger kids are here for the family get togethers - they like it and it keeps them busy. Really glad it comes with Bag, Paddles, Net, Posts and Balls.
Review by kelly d west : great table tennis game for a small home
This game table is more than I had expected. It is not only a great sized table tennis game but is also has backgammon, chess and checkers on it. We have a small house and having a table tennis game that fits over our dinning room table is awesome. It is not as big as a regulation table but we are just playing for fun..
Review by Light Traveler : Pleased with table tennis conversion top performance
This product works perfectly on top of our 84x42 dining table and provides surprisingly satisfactory play even though it is not full size. It is also very easy to remove and store when we want to use the table for other purposes. The supplied paddles, however, are extremely hard and dead and need to be replaced.
Review by allodds : Has 2 folds that interfere with ball bounce
I really want to like this product. It is decent size, not annoyingly tiny. In fact, it is 2/3 the size of a full-size table. It also perfectly fit on top of our dining table (7' x 3.5'). The playing surface is good enough for the ball to bounce reasonably well. It even folds up and is light enough to be carried on outings and events. BUT, the grind is, the table top folds in 2 places. This is NOT mentioned anywhere in the description, and is not apparent in the pictures either. I assumed it folded in one place, right under where the net would mount. Probably should have researched more, but didn't occur to me at that time. Anyway, the 2 folds end up being on the 2 halves on either side of the net. They are about 1.16 foot from the net. The fold has seams that do protrude out a little - just a wee bit, but enough to affect ball bounce. The table top has metal hinges at the ends of the folds. the hinges affect bounce too. The table top corners have a triangular pastic cap that fell off immediately. It didn't affect play, but just wanted to mention how flimsy it is. Overall, I could have probably played a mid-distance game on this table top, but mind you, this is a 2/3 size anyway, so you cannot really adjust and improvise that much. It is more suited to a short game, and that does get affected badly by the way it folds in 2 places. The paddles that come with it are a joke, but you could make it a fun game out of them if you like. The net is nothing to speak about, it mounts easily, but is not taut enough. It is also shorter than the regular net. Unfortunately, I had to return it to Amazon. Hopefully, the manufacturer will take note of the feedback and make some amends to what could be potentially be a really good product..
